Ecosystem services, or the benefits derived from natural ecosystems by human populations, play an important role in developing a climate change-resilient California. The Climate Commons Team has completed a new synthesis article, "Introduction to Ecosystem Services" describing ecosystem services, the impacts of climate change on them in California, and how they tie into conservation planning with "nature-based" solutions.

The Climate Commons is the CA LCC's online library of climate change data and related resources, information about the science that produced it, and guidance for applying climate change science to conservation in California.
