The San Francisco Bay Area Watershed Analyst provides access to downscaled climate and hydrology data to help Bay Area communities get climate ready. Users can explore historic climate and water patterns and compare with modeled future scenarios, create graphs, and download climate-water summaries for a selected watershed.

The dynamic graphs and maps allow access to modeled monthly historic and future projections from the California Basin Characterization Model, a dataset that is in use by many research and planning projects across California. The monthly data is too large (multiple terabytes) to provide for download, and too unwieldy for most people to make use of, but the Watershed Analyst makes this important dataset available for all to explore.

The Watershed Analyst is offered as a beta tool by Point Blue Conservation Science, the Terrestrial Biodiversity Clilmate Change Consortium (TBC3.org), and the Climate Commons. Stay tuned for a webinar to introduce this exciting new product!
